Visa and entry requirements

Entry rules depend on your nationality and can change. This page gives general guidance only; confirm requirements with the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate and your airline before you travel.

Visa-free stays

Citizens of many countries, including many in Europe and the Americas, can visit Morocco as tourists without a visa for up to 90 days. Other nationalities need a visa or an e-visa.

E-visa

Some nationalities can apply for an electronic visa through the official Moroccan e-visa portal. Use only official government websites, not third-party intermediaries.

Passport

Your passport should be valid for the length of your stay, and airlines often apply a six-month validity rule. Ensure you have blank pages for entry stamps.

Arrival

You may be asked to complete a landing card or provide the address of your first night's accommodation. Keep proof of onward travel available.
